CooperVision Mountpark

Details
Brief
Axis House were briefed to create office and boardroom spaces, Goods In facilities, canteen, breakout and washrooms at CooperVision’s recently acquired 90,000 sq ft manufacturing facility In just 20 weeks.
Solution
Starting with a thorough understanding of the business objectives and needs for the new facility, Axis House conducted an in-depth space planning study before agreeing works that focussed on functional design and ease of ongoing maintenance.
To support operations, the main warehouse space was reconfigured to create Goods In facilities and a partitioned office area. Leading directly from this space is a fully equipped kitchen and canteen area with capacity for more than 50 staff during busy lunch and break times.
The main office space on the first floor was specifically planned to provide department team-work areas and includes cellular offices to accommodate senior staff, a tea-point facility and a spacious 12-seater dual-screen boardroom.
Further break out quiet spaces were created on the ground floor with floor to ceiling windows to flood the space with natural light.
The building is now perfectly adapted to the needs of the business, providing room for future growth whilst creating a great first impression on staff and visitors alike.
