As a business servicing partners in more than 20 countries, our client wanted to update their Surrey offices to reflect the prestigious nature of their global activity.
The brief for the design included making reference to the company’s focus – the aviation industry – as well as their Middle Eastern roots.
The design needed to incorporate ample desk provision, collaborative spaces, meeting booths and a boardroom. All with a cohesive, contemporary and highly professional look and feel.
We also needed to meet specific considerations relating to the staff’s health and wellbeing.

“We chose AXIS House because of their creativity. They are design-focused with real expertise and excellent attention to detail.”

The AXIS House team transformed the offices with a fresh redesign to optimise collaboration and provide an inviting environment for visits from prestigious overseas clients.
Our task was to transform the UK headquarters to create a series of visually impactful, cohesive spaces that would allow both staff and visitors to work effectively together.
We designed open-plan desking areas, meeting booths, a prayer room, and a multi-functional breakout area with dining provision and tiered seating for ‘town hall’ presentations.
To meet sustainability objectives, we wrapped the existing desks in a taupe-coloured vinyl to avoid throwing them away and to give them a brand-new look. Word has it that the MD, in particular, loves his revitalised desk!

Our client’s new collaborative spaces are designed with casual chats and team huddles in mind. It’s easy to grab a coffee with colleagues in the breakout area or find a quiet spot to work in one of the meeting pods.
The world map on the wall comes with magnetic pins representing all the locations of the team’s global partners.

Our WELL-accredited designers are expert at incorporating wellbeing considerations into our clients’ schemes. For this project, we included biophilic elements such as plenty of natural planting.
We also installed glazed partitions and positioned desks as close as possible to the windows to increase exposure to beneficial daylight.

The overall feel of the refreshed offices is light, airy and professional. The design features that reference aviation and the Middle East serve to elevate and refine the space. This fit-out successfully met our client’s objective to create a streamlined, welcoming and collaborative work environment.
Our aviation client is delighted with the way their new workplace supports hybrid working and collaboration. Get in touch to find out how we can help.
