30 Years of Design Innovation
The story of Axis House began in the 1950s, with two brothers – David and Mark.
While working for a building and estates company in Berkeley Square, London, David discovered a passion for property conversion. Meanwhile, Mark had developed a love for furniture and design when working for a well-known home furnishings store. Although both working for successful businesses, the brothers decided to start up their own company, specialising in property design and refurbishment.
A second-generation company emerged in the 1990s following a period of growth and acquisition. Still family run, the experience and expertise of the team came from a variety of design and build sectors, including construction. This led Axis House, as we know it today, to specialise in design-led commercial office workspaces.
Since its foundation, the mission of Axis House has remained the same – to enhance spaces by digging deeper into the business and property potential to add value; and always, putting the customer first.
